Managed the integration of multiple non-homogenous environments into a single onsite mega-datacenter operating on common functions and financial platforms. Led the Mergers and Acquisition team in the identification of redundant and outdated systems and applications. Managed a team of 15 global resources responsible for designing and implementing a strategy to create efficiencies for HR and Financials functional teams.

Results: Eliminated redundant applications responsible for processing financials, decommissioned SAP financials and replaced with Oracle Financial Management Analytics; upgraded Oracle 9g to Oracle 10g.     

Gloabl Multi-Protocol Label Switch (MPLS) . Oil & Gas Industry

 

Managed the delivery of a global Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) network for a multi-national oil and gas services company. Managed a multi-national team of technical experts, engineers, business analysts, and junior project managers utilizing PMI project management methodologies in delivery of a global communications network. Provided expert judgment on technologies and process improvement to improve costs and efficiencies. Results: Improved reliability of communication channels across 120 global sites. Restructured Information Technology Department from a regional support model to a corporate organizational structure. Delivered network ahead of schedule, under budget, with 97% accuracy.

Oil & Gas Industry

 

Identified the risks and managed the global upgrade of an Enterprise Resource Planning environment running Oracle 9i. Managed a global team consisting of technical experts, vendors, and stakeholders in the establishment of multiple environments and the upgrade of Oracle 9i to Oracle 11i. Utilized Agile Systems Development Lifecycle methodologies to reduce time of deployment. Results: Created four separate environments; Development, Test, Operational Assessment Testing, and Production allowing the smooth upgrade of Oracle 9i to Oracle 11i; effectively delivered project within 12 month timeline and realized a cost savings of 5% over three-year End of Life (EoL) projections on a $1.5 million dollar project.
